We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
A cookie is a small text file which is transferred from a website and stored on your computer’s hard drive. It enables a website to “remember” who you are. This will however, affect your ability to log into and use the IT SmartDesk platform.
We use persistent cookies which reside on your computer, and contain information we use to authenticate you on our website along with information which enhances your experience on the site. We do not at any time store your password information in a cookie. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.
No cookies on the IT SmartDesk platform are served or used by third parties.
We use an industry-standard third-party payment provider, so all payment information you provide in the registration process and subsequent processes regarding increasing, decreasing or cancelling subscription payments goes directly to tour payment provider’s website. We do not handle your credit card information in anyway way on our platform. For purposes of recurring subscription payments, it is necessary to store your payment method details on our payment provider’s system. We simply request from them that a payment is taken from your stored payment method, at the time that the subscription payment is due.
Controlling your personal information
We will not distribute your personal information to third parties unless we are required by law to do so.
You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998. A small fee will be payable. If you would like a copy of the information held on you please write to our registered office address.
