What information we collect

We collect and store the following information:

• Your name and contact information including but not limited to your email address and the name of your organisation.
• Demographic information relating to you as an individual, and also the organisation you work for such as business sector, how you heard about us, and interests.
• Information relating to the ways in which you use the functionality provided by the IT SmartDesk platform (gathered through the collection and analysis of anonymous usage data).
• Any direct correspondence between you, the customer and IT SmartDesk Ltd in relation to the support, management or termination of your account on the IT SmartDesk platform. This may be in the form of email, fax or letter.

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to enable you to use the IT SmartDesk platform, as well as to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

• Internal record keeping and systems management
• To understand how the functionality within the IT SmartDesk platform is being used, in order to improve our products and services.

Payment information

We use an industry-standard third-party payment provider, so all payment information you provide in the registration process and subsequent processes regarding increasing, decreasing or cancelling subscription payments goes directly to tour payment provider’s website. We do not handle your credit card information in anyway way on our platform. For purposes of recurring subscription payments, it is necessary to store your payment method details on our payment provider’s system. We simply request from them that a payment is taken from your stored payment method, at the time that the subscription payment is due.

Controlling your personal information

We will not distribute your personal information to third parties unless we are required by law to do so.

You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998. A small fee will be payable. If you would like a copy of the information held on you please write to our registered office address.
